Terms and Conditions current as of 1st October, 2016.

Legally Binding Agreement

I understand that this agreement is legally binding whether my use of the facilities and its services is determined and paid on a yearly, monthly, weekly or individual basis.

I acknowledge that increases in periodic payments may occur and patrons will be given a minimum 30 days notice if this is to occur.

Direct Debit Policy

Payments via direct debit are charged monthly on the 1st of the month. Any debits that fall on public holidays will be initiated the next available business day. Please allow five (5) business days from the scheduled debit date for your payment to clear.

Should there be a failed direct debit payment from your account due to insufficient funds we will attempt to contact you and we will process payment three (3) days later. If this fails a $10 fee will be charged.


Cancellations require 2 weeks notice and must be given before the 15th day of the month to enable cancellation of the direct debit.

Written withdrawal must be submitted. No Verbal withdrawals are accepted. Should you withdraw without written notice, you will be charged an early withdrawal fee of $55 per swimmer.

Management reserves the right to cancel any enrollment.

Fast Track Program

Every school holidays, normal monthly lessons are suspended and the school holiday intensives commence. Normal lessons resume the Monday after the school holidays unless this being a public holiday, then it would be the first Tuesday.

Missed Lesson Policy

Puddle Ducks appreciates that there will be times when it is necessary to cancel a swimming lesson due to inclement weather or extenuating circumstances. A credit for the lesson will be applied to cancelled lessons. Cancelling a class due to inclement weather is at the discretion of Puddle Ducks.

We will never cancel a class without attempting to contact you, so please do not ever assume a class is cancelled if the weather is poor. Staff will be in contact within a reasonable amount of time if lessons need to be cancelled due to thunderstorm or pool closure.

Our make up policy is as follows:

  • In the event of a cancellation with 7 days notice, Puddle Ducks will provide you with a make-up lesson ONLY ONCE PER QUARTER.
  • Cancellations due to illness will be charged and a make up lesson will be provided if a medical certificate is provided.
  • Even in the case of no show, if there has been no or insufficient notification of a cancellation your lesson will be charged and no make up lesson will be offered.

Please Never assume swimming is not on.

Should you wish to cancel a lesson, please contact us, or Facebook message if sufficient notice is given, i.e. 7 days, we will schedule you a make up lesson.

Payment And Waitlist Policy

Fees are due before the 1st of each month.

When enrolling, we require an Enrollment fee of $55 to hold your spot in lessons and a pro-rata of the monthly fees depending on commencement date. Your $55 registration fee and lesson payment reserves your place in lessons. We require payment before the 1st of each month to reserve your position.

If you are contacted by Puddle Ducks Swim Academy with your requested day and time slot and you do not accept it, your $55 registration fee is non-refundable. If you contact us to remove you from the Wait List before we contact you for a booking, your $55 registration fee will be refunded.

Puddle Ducks Swim Academy reserves the right to increase fees at our discretion giving 30 days notice to customers.

Swim Nappy Policy (Infants / Toddlers)

Sure Swim Nappy/Happy nappy swim nappies are compulsory for ALL participants under the age of 3.

Participants arriving to class without a happy nappy will be required to purchase one for $20.00 before entering the water. In the event that your child poo’s in the pool when not wearing the required swim nappy, you will be required to pay the pool cleaning fee of $400.00 at the time of the accident.

Parking Policy

Ample street parking is available at our location. We take no responsibility for your car when you park either on the street or driveway. If parking in the driveway please ensure you do not block access to other vehicles.


Rash vests and board shorts are not appropriate swimwear for lessons as they weigh children down in the water and create drag which hampers swimming.

Compulsory swim caps for all swimmers.

We do not lend goggles, swim caps or swim wear due to NSW health regulations.

All swimmers must wear goggles for their lesson. We prefer that children do not wear jewellery, make up, coloured hair spray or face paint in the pool.


Please read our emails and newsletters. Any teacher changes will be displayed as you walk in.

Pool Deck Safety

Strollers are not permitted onto pool deck due to occupational health and safety regulations deeming fire evacuation directions not be blocked.


  • leave your stroller by the door at the front of the building
  • do not eat or drink on pool deck and do not allow your children to eat or drink on pool deck
  • use the garbage bin provided for all rubbish

Lost Property

Puddle Ducks Swim Academy are not responsible for lost property. Lost property is not held at the centre and is given to Charity. Drink bottles are thrown away each day.


Pets are not allowed on the premises. We are a professional business and abide by NSW Health regulations.


I give permission for myself/my child to be photographed/videos being used for publicity purposes. This includes social media advertising. All personal information complies with our Privacy Policy.

Photos and videos by parents are not permitted.

Commitment To Child Protection

Puddle Ducks Swim Academy will uphold practices that promote the safety, welfare and well being of children and young people. All patrons and guests must behave accordingly.
